I used to tell my friends that I am not much of a "help the poor" person, not because i don't think they should be helped but because I used to think i needed a huge sum in the bank to lend a helping hand.
Afara Leadership Centre, Lagos has changed my perspective about this. Now, all I want to do is help till I drop.
You do not have to break a bank to help someone, you can talk to that little girl you feel is about to get molested by one brother, you can be a backbone to a roommate who drinks three times a day while you eat chicken stew for lunch, even to that hot girl in her final year that needs you to fill her questionnaire.
Helping could be in different ways and believe me when I say the joy in helping is inexplicable.
